At 1 year and 5 months old, Alexandra has already developed a genuine love for books. While she can only pronounce simple words like “baby” and “ball” for now, her curiosity and enthusiasm for reading shine through every day. She carefully selects several books from the shelves, toddles over, and hands them to us one by one—her way of asking, “Read this, please.”
The beloved Baby University collection — Alexandra’s very first book series.
Her favorite book at the moment is Evolution for Babies from the Baby University series by Chris Ferrie and Cara Florance. In fact, Baby University was the very first complete book set we bought for her—a gift we hoped would grow with her, spark wonder, and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
Sitting proudly with her favorite: Evolution for Babies.
Sometimes, she’ll sit with a book on her lap, flipping through the pages while mumbling to herself. Other times, she’s found quietly playing with her puzzles or toys next to the bookshelves, as if the world of letters and learning is already becoming part of her daily life.
Reading with intense concentration — every dot and color matters.
A big smile for a big idea — enjoying learning time on the floor.
Puzzle time by the bookshelf — play and learning, side by side.
Books are a uniquely portable magic.

Watching Alexandra build this early connection with books has been one of the most joyful parts of parenting so far. We can’t wait to see what stories and ideas she’ll fall in love with next.
